Denver holds a 60-51 halftime lead over Golden State.

The Denver Nuggets outscored the Warriors 35-21 in the second quarter to overcome a first quarter deficit, and now they lead the Golden State Warriors 60-51 at the half.

The difference in this game has been the three-point shot and the Nuggets have made an impressive 6 of 10 from beyond the arc, while the Warriors have made just three.

Denver made their way back in this game by going on a 20-4 run in the middle of the second quarter, and that is how they now lead by nine points at the half.

Neither defenses are all that impressive tonight as both teams are shooting over 50 percent from the field. The Nuggets are led in scoring by Danilo Gallinari who has 15 points, and Andre Iguodala has chipped in with 12.

The Warriors are a one-man scoring team tonight as David Lee is their player in double figures, and he has 19 points.

Denver visits Golden State in the TNT nightcap on Thursday night.

The Denver Nuggets had their four-game winning streak snapped on Monday, so they will try to start a new one Thursday night when they travel to take on the Golden State Warriors in the second game of TNT's nationally televised doubleheader.

Meeting for the third time already this season, the Warriors and Nuggets will not be strangers. Denver - currently 8-7 overall - has won the previous two meetings, defeating the Warriors on the road in overtime, 107-101, on Nov. 10 and 102-91 at home the day after Thanksgiving last Friday, Nov. 23.

Denver had its run of four straight wins ended by the Utah Jazz on Monday, who edged the Nuggets, 105-103, in Salt Lake City.

The Warriors, sitting at 8-6 to start the season, have won three of their last four games. This includes a 96-85 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves at home last Saturday, a day after falling to the Nuggets.

The contest will air on TNT following the San Antonio Spurs-Miami Heat showdown, but tipoff is set for 8:30 p.m. MT.
