ESPN is projecting big games from two of Peyton Manning's favorite targets.

It seems that ESPN is projecting a high-scoring fantasy football shoot out when the Denver Broncos travel to the Atlanta Falcons for Week 2 of Monday Night Football.

ESPN's four fantasy analysts have Demaryius Thomas coming in as their 17th best wide receiver for the week with a projection of 95 yards and one touchdown. Thomas finished Week 1 with 17 fantasy points (110 receiving yards, one touchdown).

ESPN Fantasy is also equally as high on Jacob Tamme's chances. Although they have him ranked as their 12th best tight end, they see a 49-yard, one touchdown performance in his Week 2 future. That would be the second straight week Tamme finished with 10+ fantasy points after he totaled 43 yards and one touchdown against the Pittsburgh Steelers last weekend.

Coming in at number eight in the quarterback rankings is Peyton Manning. Manning, who is fresh off 20 point performance, is projected to toss two more touchdowns this week along with 273 yards and an interception. Here's what they had to say following his memorable comeback performance Sunday evening:

Manning recorded 20 fantasy points (ESPN standard scoring) against a solid Steelers defense, and he did so in a game in which his offense was on the field for less than a minute in the third quarter. Perhaps he won't be a 300-yard passer on a weekly basis anymore, but it's clear he's still a top-10 quarterback regardless of the opponent.

The Denver Broncos have a few running backs of note, but none who are probably No. 1 fantasy starters.

The running back situation for the Denver Broncos is one of the tougher ones to decipher this draft season for fantasy owners, something we haven't said much since the Mike Shanahan, RB-by-committee days of yore.

Willis McGahee is probably the starter, with fellow veteran Lance Ball currently behind him on the depth chart. Rookie Ronnie Hillman (who is banged up) and former first-round pick/so-far bust Knowshon Moreno are also vying for playing time to leech off some of that sweet Peyton Manning offensive juju.

FakeTeams.com doesn't love McGahee, listing him as their No. 34 running back. Hillman took the No. 46 spot, but the hype might be cooling.

It'll probably come down to whomever is the better receiver out of the backfield that determines where the fantasy value lies, but none are a real RB No. 1. McGahee could be a solid No. 2 or flex play, but he's never been a great receiver. Ball could take some of his time if Manning takes a liking to him. Hillman will lneed to stay on the field to see any real action. Moreno is the wild card here. If he's over his ACL injury and can reclaim that elusiveness that made him so dangerous at the University of Georgia, he could emerge as a playmaker with a real quarterback on the team. But he's a risk, so don't target him unless there are no other attractive options.

Who will put up more numbers between Demaryius Thomas and Eric Decker with Peyton Manning under center?

One of the first things fantasy football players thought of when Peyton Manning signed with Denver was the boon it would likely provide to the team's wide receivers, namely incumbent starters Demaryius Thomas and Eric Decker.

Mile High Report seems to think Decker might be a better option for fantasy purposes this season, seeing him as a better target for a drop-back quarterback than Thomas, projecting 1,100 yards and nine touchdowns for Decker, and 900 yard with six scores for Thomas. Thomas has the better pedigree and gained a lot of attention for his big play to help the Tebow-led Broncos eliminate the Pittsburgh Steelers last season, but Decker's more-precise route running could very well make him a more favorable Manning target.

The site also looks at potential sleepers following the Broncos' Week 1 preseason game against the Chicago Bears, including wide receiver Matthew WIllis. Safe to say more than two receivers will benefit from having Manning around.

FakeTeams.com has a full fantasy preview for the Denver Broncos. The site had rated Thomas as high as 12th on its WR rankings and Decker at 26th, but that could change when the two are seen on the field with Manning more throughout the preseason.

Peyton Manning is certainly one of the wild cards for fantasy owners as it's going to be difficult to predict his success in Denver.

It's difficult to imagine a Peyton Manning offense that doesn't put up prolific passing numbers. In 13 seasons as the starting quarterback in Indianapolis, Manning averaged over 4,000 yards and 30 touchdowns per season in an offense that certainly emphasized the passing game.

While the Broncos were strong in their debut preseason game, defeating the Bears 31-3, Manning's showing wasn't as strong. The four-time AP NFL MVP completed four of his seven pass attempts, but threw an interception in his only trip to the redzone.

Manning is certainly one of the wild cards for fantasy owners as it's going to be difficult to predict Manning's success in a new offense, one year removed from a neck injury that reportedly drained a lot of his throwing strength. However, Manning has been productive throughout his career based on his ability to out-smart everyone around him and that shouldn't change in Denver.
