Denver Nuggets rookie Kenneth Faried hasn't received much playing time during the 2011-2012 season yet, but that all changed on Wednesday night when he finally entered against the Sacramento Kings. He wound up scoring seven points and pulling down four boards in 10 minutes. Oh, and he added four blocks.

Faried had an entertaining first two points in the NBA. He picked up a loose ball and passed it to Rudy Fernandez. Fernandez then gets underneath the basket and blindly passes it behind his head to Faried, who slams it through the net. Check it out below.

Faried appeared in one other game before and grabbed four rebounds in nine minutes. Faried is certainly making the most out of limited minutes.

It was never in doubt for the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday at the Pepsi Center, as the team extended its undefeated home record with a 110-83 blowout win over the Sacramento Kings. Denver led wire-to-wire after building up a 10-point lead after the first quarter. They would never look back.

Five Nuggets scorers reached double-figures, led by key reserve Al Harrington. The veteran forward scored 15 points and grabbed five rebounds on 7-of-10 shooting in 20 minutes of action. Fellow reserve Rudy Fernandez was the second highest scorer, finishing with 12 points, eight rebounds, and four assists. Kosta Koufus earned his first career double-double, tallying 10 points and 11 rebounds in the win.

Sacramento can take solace in a stellar effort from disgruntled second year center DeMarcus Cousins, who scored a game-high 26 points on 9-of-12 shooting off the bench. Cousins requested a trade earlier this week, but appears likely to remain a King. Shooting guard Marcus Thornton scored 23 points in the loss.

The Sacramento Kings have been swirling in controversy as of late, but the Denver Nuggets are showing no signs of sympathy. The Nuggets are just a quarter away from pushing their record to 5-2 after dominating the first three quarters against the Kings on Wednesday night at the Pepsi Center. Denver leads 85-64 after three, and the game feels like as much of a blowout as the score would suggest.

Four Denver scorers have reached double-figures, led by Arron Afflalo and Timofey Mozgoz, who each have 11 points. Big man Kosta Koufos has added 10 points on 4-of-5 shooting and has also grabbed nine rebounds. Al Harrington leads all Denver scorers off the bench with 15 points on 7-of-9 shooting.

Sacramento has been atrocious outside of DeMarcus Cousins (17 points on 5-of-8 shooting) and Marcus Thornton (19 points).

The Denver Nuggets have thoroughly out-classed the Sacramento Kings through the first half of their Wednesday night matchup at the Pepsi Center, leading the visitors 56-39 after two quarters. Denver has gotten it done with smothering defense and hot shooting.

Denver ends the half shooting 61 percent from the floor after knocking down 25 of their 41 field goal attempts. The ball movement has been stellar as well, as the Nuggets have 18 assists compared to just six for the Kings.

Playing without star center Nene, Timofey Mozgov has filled in nicely for the Nuggets. The big man is 4-for-6 from the field for nine points to lead all Denver starters. Al Harrington came off the bench to scored 10 points and grab five rebounds on 5-of-6 shooting. Arron Afflalo has seven points at the half.

Marcus Thornton leads all scorers with 14 points at the half. DeMarcus Cousins scored eight second quarter points for Sacramento, as well.

The Denver Nuggets are undefeated at home and looking to improve their record to 5-2 overall, and so far, they're off to a good start against the Sacramento Kings. Denver leads 27-17 after the first quarter on Wednesday at the Pepsi Center. Sacramento has shot just 6-for-23 (26.1 percent) from the field.

Again without star center Nene, the Nuggets are starting both Timofey Mozgov and Kosta Koufos tonight. So far, so good. Mozgov leads all Denver scorers with six points, while Koufos has four points on 2-of-3 shooting. Arron Afflalo has five points and hit Denver's only three-pointer.

The Kings were led by shooting guard Marcus Thornton in the first, who scored a game-high eight points on 3-of-7 shooting. DeMarcus Cousins, who demanded a trade earlier in the week, has played six minutes and has not scored.

After narrowly clipping the Milwaukee Bucks by the score of 91-86 on Monday night, the Nuggets remain undefeated at home and will face a Kings team that has lost by 22 points and 17 points in its two road games this season.
