Not only did the Denver Broncos lose, but any fantasy football owners banking on Tim Tebow having a big day against the Buffalo Bills was also turned to dust. The numbers were not pretty for him. He was 13-of-30 for 185 yards. Decent yardage for him, to be sure, but he couldn't even complete 50 percent of his passes.

To make matters worse, Tebow threw four interceptions, two of which were returned for touchdowns. He did pick up 34 rushing yards, which was in line with his numberFire projection of 36 yards. For those in ESPN leagues, Tebow did provide 12 points, four short of what numberFire was projecting.

It was a disappointing day all around for anyone following the Broncos in any capacity. With Tebow throwing more than he had to that affected the number of touches Willis McGahee received, who went over 1,000 yards for the season but finished with 64 on the ground.

Tim Tebow has dealt with the Denver cold weather, but on Saturday he'll need to deal with Buffalo's version of it. But that shouldn't really affect him for the game. So he'll need to wear sleeves -- as if his fantasy owners are worrying about that. The latest fantasy projections from numberFire have Tebow as the No. 9 quarterback and the No. 12 overall player this week.

The passing numbers are still nothing spectacular with a projected 10-of-23 completion rate. But his 141 yards and one touchdown are decent production. The usual mid-30s projection for rushing yards sticks around this week with 36. The Bulls defense has been shredded for the last few weeks and has been poor for the entire season.

This looks like it should be a game for Tebow to dominate, but will we need to wait until the fourth quarter once again for that to happen?

Denver Broncos running back Willis McGahee returns to the site of where he began his NFL career: Ralph Wilson Stadium in Orchard Park, NY. McGahee has a chance to help the Broncos clinch the AFC West with a win (provided the Kansas City Chiefs defeat the Oakland Raiders). But for fantasy owners, McGahee can help lead them to playoff victories.

Entering Sunday's contest, numberFire ranks McGahee as the No. 13 fantasy running back. McGahee's is projected for 12.96 points with his stats looking to come out as 17 carries for 72 yards. He's also looking as three receptions for 24 yards. He's a bit iffy for scoring a touchdown as he is projection comes out to 0.57 touchdowns. But if the Buffalo rush defense is as porous as it has been in previous weeks, don't be surprised to see McGahee find the end zone multiple times.

Fantasy football owners are hoping that Denver Broncos running back Willis McGahee reverses course from the previous two weeks and puts up his earlier stellar fantasy numbers for championship weekend. McGahee has been limited by knee and hamstring injuries the last two weeks, leading to just 24 carries for 104 yards.

McGahee was at full practice on Wednesday and he should be ready to shoulder the load. NumberFire is projecting a solid day for McGahee against the Buffalo Bills. The midweek numbers have McGahee with 16 carries for 70 yards. But the Bills defense is terrible against the run, allowing 139.5 yards per game. It's time for McGahee to get his seventh 100-yard game of the season. Should he and the Broncos win and then find the Raiders have lost, the team can rest McGahee in the final week of the season -- when fantasy players won't care that much.

Fantasy football owners have certainly made Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas a hot pickup over the last couple of weeks; however, as we head into championship weekend, Thomas is making his biggest splash yet on the waiver wire. One week ago, Thomas was owned in 17 percent of ESPN leagues and a now he's up to 36.6 percent of leagues.

Thomas has become Tim Tebow's favorite target over the last three weeks. From his 144 yards and two touchdowns against the Minnesota Vikings to his seven catches against the Chicago Bears and then his seven catches for 116 yards against the Patriots, Thomas, not Eric Decker, is the star wide receiver for the Broncos.

After a less than satisfactory rookie campaign and then a torn Achilles tendon during the offseason, Thomas then missed the first five games of the season due to a broken pinky. During his early games, Thomas was barely a factor on the field, but once Tebow started to show progress as a passer so too did Thomas as a receiver.

Fantasy football playoffs come to an end with Week 16 (in most cases). Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow is still a good start for this Saturday.

It's the final week for many leagues and all the glory of winning a championship this season is on the line. Will Tim Tebow be the quarterback to lead teams to final victory? Even in a loss to the New England Patriots last Sunday, Tebow put up 26 points in a standard ESPN league. He threw for 194 yards, rushed for 93 yards and found the end zone on the ground twice.

He'll go up against a weak Buffalo Bills run defense that surrenders 139.5 yards per game this season. That means good things for Tebow and his running backs, one would hope. NumberFire has already started his projection for this week at 15.66 points. The passing game is still shaky with just 10 completions on 23 attempts, but the 141 yards and 1 touchdown work well. The 36 rushing yards is probably a bit low to begin with, but that number has always been low to start out the week.

Still that projection has him as the No. 12 fantasy player and the No. 10 quarterback this week in numberFire's rankings. Will Tebow Time strike for fantasy winners this Saturday?
