Remember a couple of weeks ago when Hulk Hogan launched a tirade against Tim Tebow and Tebow Mania? You know, because deep down he fears that Tebow Mania will overtake Hulkamania. Well, Greg Gumbel ripped Hogan's tirade on Sunday afternoon after Tebow helped the Denver Broncos to a 18-15 victory over the Miami Dolphins.

"Remember when Hogan came out and really ripped Tebow? I must have been out of the country when Hulk Hogan--when people cared what he thought about anything other than play acting in a fake sport," Gumbel said. Well, Greg, saying something like that just empowers people to talk about Hogan.

You know, maybe Hogan was doing a bit more of that acting when he was on ESPN and delivered an anti-Tebow sermon. I think he was back in that Hollywood persona that he created during his WCW and later WWE times.

No one ever cared about the Tebow rant. We all just got a laugh out of it.

Hulk Hogan and his legions of Hulkamaniacs have something to say to Tim Tebow and his Tebowmaniacs: "What are you going to do when Hulkamania runs wild over you?" I smell a pay-per-view event coming.

Actually, Hulk Hogan did say that while on Wednesday's episode of ESPN's Sports Nation. He ripped off a replica Tebow jersey and wants us to know that he's not a fan of Tebowmania. He doesn't have enough followers to be the better motivator. Video after the jump.

Let's break this down:

Tebow looks like Hogan's shadow. Well, depending on the light, Tebow might actually tower of Hogan.

Hogan's arms are bigger than Tebow's legs.

By pointing at Tebow, Hogan can make the liver quiver, among other things. I think Hogan is a practitioner of black magic, but probably not.

Hulkamaniacs outnumber Tebowmaniacs, which makes Hogan the better motivator.

And the response Tim Tebow would give (not that he will): Hard work pays off when talent doesn't work hard.
