The Denver Nuggets continue to climb up the Western Conference standings after an impressive 106-85 win over the Dallas Mavericks.

Danilo Gallinari scored 39 points as Nuggets won for their seventh time in their last 10 games. Kenneth Faried pulled down 19 rebounds, and chipped in 11 points while Andre Iguodala added 20 points and made 4-of-6 from three-point range. The Mavericks were coming off an overtime loss in Oklahoma City Thursday night and looked sluggish all game. OJ Mayo led the team with 15 points. Dirk Nowitzki, working his way back from knee surgery, struggled in the back to back, scoring just five points on 2-of-10 shooting.

That win, coupled with the Houston Rockets 122-116 loss to the San Antonio Spurs, pulled Denver even with the Rockets for sixth place in the Western Conference. The Rockets fell behind 41-29 in the first quarter and never led. Tony Parker scored 31 points and had 10 assists for the Spurs. Tim Duncan added 30 points.

Elsewhere, the Golden State Warriors continued their winning ways, beating the Philadelphia 76ers 96-89 while the Los Angeles Lakers moved back to .500 with a 104-87 victory over the Portland Trailblazers.
