Bobcats vs. Nuggets: Game time, TV schedule and more

Denver tries to bounce back from a loss on Thursday when they host a road-weary Charlotte team.

The Denver Nuggets (14-13) welcome the Charlotte Bobcats (7-19) for their annual visit to the Pepsi Center on Saturday night.

The Nuggets need a win to keep pace among the Western Conference playoff contenders. Denver snapped a three-game winning streak on Thursday when they lost on the road at Portland. Against the Blazers, the Nuggets struggled shooting the ball from the perimeter, missing all 22 shots they took from behind the arc.

The Bobcats limp into the Pepsi Center to complete a four-game road trip against Western Conference opponents. Charlotte has yet to win on the trip or in December, riding a 14-game losing streak into the opening tip on Saturday. The last win for Charlotte came on Nov. 24th over the Washington Wizards.

Charlotte simply struggles to keep opponents from scoring, currently ranking last in the league by giving up more than 104 points per game. Denver isn't too far behind giving up over 100 points per game themselves, so if either team can slow down the other even a little bit they should have an advantage.

The game is scheduled to tip off at 7:00 p.m. MT and will be televised on Altitude Sports. The radio broadcast can be heard on AM 950 KKFN.
