NBA schedule: Nuggets play Bobcats on Saturday

The Denver Nuggets have just one game this weekend, but there are plenty of national games of interest.

The Denver Nuggets have only one game this weekend when they host the Charlotte Bobcats on Saturday night. Playing at home is where the Nuggets are at their best as they have an impressive 7-1 record at home.

Looking at the Bobcats on paper, this should be an easy win since Charlotte is nearing 20 losses and have one of the worst road records in the NBA. This game can be seen on Altitude at 7 p.m. MT.

The first big national game leading up to Christmas is a game between Eastern Conference division leaders, on Friday night.. First up is the Chicago Bulls who head on the road to visit the New York Knicks. The Knicks are starting to pull away from the rest of the Atlantic Division as they lead by six games.

The Bulls are in a much tighter contest in the Central as they have a one-game lead over the Bucks and Pacers. This game can be seen on NBA TV and 5:30 p.m.

On Saturday, the Bulls are back in action for the second consecutive game as they stay on the road to take on the Atlanta Hawks. This is another key Eastern Conference matchup, however, the Hawks have been struggling of late as they have gone 3-3 in their last six games. Atlanta is looking for a big win on Saturday, so that they can stay on track with the Miami Heat in the Southeast division.

On Sunday, the Dallas Mavericks and San Antonio Spurs are facing off in a Southwest Division matchup. This is the game to see out of the six on the night. The Spurs are looking to beat the Mavericks so that they can stay on pace with the Memphis Grizzlies for the division lead. The Mavericks will more than likely be tired as this will be their third game in four nights.
