The Denver Nuggets coasted to a 122-97 victory over the Sacramento Kings on Sunday afternoon at Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, Calif., marking the first time the Nuggets have won consecutive games since Nov. 25.
Javale McGee scored 19 points, grabbed five rebounds and blocked three shots in 21 dominating minutes off the bench. Five other Denver players reached double figures in scoring, including Andre Iguodala who filled up the boxscore with 11 points, eight rebounds and eight assists.
Denver jumped out to a 64-46 halftime lead and kept the pressure on the Kings after the break, extending its lead to as high as 34 points near the end of the third quarter. The Nuggets shot 54.1 percent from the field, compared to the Kings' paltry 34.1-percent effort.
The Nuggets return home on Tuesday to face the San Antonio Spurs before heading back out on the road to take on the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday.
