The Denver Nuggets had their four-game winning streak snapped on Monday, so they will try to start a new one Thursday night when they travel to take on the Golden State Warriors in the second game of TNT's nationally televised doubleheader.
Meeting for the third time already this season, the Warriors and Nuggets will not be strangers. Denver - currently 8-7 overall - has won the previous two meetings, defeating the Warriors on the road in overtime, 107-101, on Nov. 10 and 102-91 at home the day after Thanksgiving last Friday, Nov. 23.
Denver had its run of four straight wins ended by the Utah Jazz on Monday, who edged the Nuggets, 105-103, in Salt Lake City.
The Warriors, sitting at 8-6 to start the season, have won three of their last four games. This includes a 96-85 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves at home last Saturday, a day after falling to the Nuggets.
The contest will air on TNT following the San Antonio Spurs-Miami Heat showdown, but tipoff is set for 8:30 p.m. MT.
