Although Wilson Chandler has seen time in four games for the Denver Nuggets, the team will sit the reserve forward for the remainder of November, according to Benjamin Hochman of the Denver Post.
Chandler, 25, had hip surgery in April and made his return to the court on Oct. 31 against the 76ers. In 21 minutes, he recorder five points and three rebounds. He played in just three of the next seven games for the Nuggets, never playing for more than 20 minutes and never scoring more than 10 points.
Per Hochman, a surgery like the one Chandler receives typically takes eight months to fully heal. Chandler will continue to practice with the team and work with trainers to continue his recovery from the injury.
During the 2011-12 season, Chandler only played in eight games. Prior to that, he averaged 12.5 points and five rebounds in the 2010-11 season after he was traded from the Knicks to the Nuggets in February 2011.
