After a furiously back-and-forth fourth quarter, the Phoenix Suns took a victory from the Denver Nuggets, 110-100, on Monday night.
The game was close for the first half, but the Suns pulled away in the third quarter and entered the fourth with a slight lead. Denver was able to push back into the game and pull it within one or two points several times, but couldn't keep the mojo going as the Suns pulled away once again to end it.
Kenneth Faried was the top producer for the Nuggets in the loss, putting 14 points and 11 rebounds on the board for yet another double-double to add to his growing collection in 2012. Seven Suns players put up double figures, led by Goran Dragic's 21-point game.
The game snapped a four-game winning streak for the Nuggets, who dropped to 4-4 with the loss. They'll face the Miami Heat on Thursday in a rematch of their third loss of the season, this time at the Pepsi Center.
