Evan Fournier, the 19-year-old Denver Nuggets rookie, told NBA.com he is enjoying his first NBA training camp, even as he is adjusting to life outside his home in France:
"How can I miss something when you look at this," Fournier says, sweeping his arm toward the middle of the Nuggets locker room.
"It's a great experience (going through) my first NBA training camp. Everybody plays tough with a lot of intensity. It's been great playing with the guys."
Fournier played the last three seasons professionally in France before making the jump to the NBA for this year's draft. The Nuggets took him with the 20th overall pick. He's already impressed with a great Summer League, during which he averaged 14.8 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists a game, and he has a fan in Nuggets coach George Karl:
"He's a 2 or 3 man right now that can probably play 1, 2 and 3 in a year or two. He's creative and he has the versatility to be a good playmaker at times."
