The Northern Coloardo Bears (1-5) continue their non-conference schedule on Saturday when they travel to play No. 24 Wichita State (8-0) at Charles Koch Arena.

The Bears remain in search of their first win over a Division I team but that will be a tough task against one of the top teams in the strong Missouri Valley Conference. The undefeated Shockers entered the rankings this week after beating Air Force on the road last Sunday. Wichita State also has wins over Tulsa and on the road at Iowa.

Wichita State leans on a pair of experienced forwards to lead their attack. Junior Carl Hall leads the Shockers with nearly 15 points and eight rebounds per game. Senior Cleanthony Early adds 14 points and six rebounds per game.

The Bears will look to their backcourt leaders to try and pull off the upset. Guards Tevin Svihovec and Tate Unruh lead Northern Colorado with 12 points per game each. The Bears will need Unruh to catch fire from behind the arc where he takes the bulk of his shot attempts.

The game is scheduled to tip off at 6 p.m. MT with the radio broadcast on KFKA-AM 1310.
