The Northern Colorado Bears have historically struggled when playing against the Montana Grizzlies, but both teams are currently in slumps. That could leave the Bears open to their second win all time against Montana when the Grizzlies head to Greeley on Saturday for UNC's homecoming game.
Both the Bears and Grizzlies have lost their last two games and are both not having great starts to the season. Northern Colorado has started 1-3 with their only win coming against lowly Colorado Mesa University, while the Grizzlies have stumbled to a 2-3 record with two straight losses in Big Sky play.
Montana will be looking to hold back Dominic Gunn, who put together 215 all-purpose yards against the Grizzlies last season, including a touchdown on a kickoff return. Despite his heroics, the Grizzlies won the 2011 contest handily, 55-28.
The game will be at 1:35 p.m. MT. It will be televised on Root Sports.
