Drew Shore Ends Denver Pioneers Career, Signs With Florida Panthers

The Denver Pioneers saw their first player turn pro following elimination from the 2012 NCAA Hockey Tournament on Friday. Junior forward Drew Shore signed an entry level contract with the Florida Panthers on Monday.

Shore led the Pioneers this past season with 22 goals and 53 points. He finished his career with 50 career goals and 118 career points.

His brother Nick Shore will carry on with the Pioneers next season and will be joined by his younger brother Quentin Shore. Baker Shore is 12 years old and still has several years before he'll commit to a school.
