Sophomore forward Chris Udofia put in a strong game of 17 points, 7 assists, 3 rebounds, 2 blocks and 1 steal. Brian Stafford added 13 points and stole the ball three times. Freshman Royce O'Neale had a solid game with nine points and eight rebounds. However, it was tainted by five turnovers and four personal fouls
The Pioneers couldn't stop Jeremy Allen, who scored 29 points and stole four balls. He made 13-of-15 free throws. DeJuan Wright and Cameron Bell put in 15 and 12 points and 9 and 8 rebounds, respectively.
Denver (18-8, 8-5 Sun Belt) hosts Louisiana-Lafayette on Thursday.
