The University of Denver Pioneers and the Colorado College Tigers will face off in a two-game series over the weekend, the first series for the Gold Pan between the rival schools this season. Both teams will be looking for big conference wins, with the Pioneers looking to gain ground at the top and the Tigers looking to catch up. Denver enters the weekend with a 5-1-0 conference record, while the Tigers currently sit at 4-0-0 in the WCHA.
Meanwhile, the Air Force Falcons will have the weekend off, playing their next game Nov. 23.
