Western Kentucky Vs. Denver Score Update: Pioneers Jump Out To Huge 43-16 Lead At Halftime

Through one half of play, the Denver Pioneers are proving to be more than up to the task of hosting their Sun Belt Conference rivals, the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers. Through one half of play at the Magness Arena in Denver, the Pioneers have amassed a 43-16 lead and show no signs of slowing down.

The Hilltoppers appear woefully overmatched in the early going. Nigel Snipes, a forward from Western Kentucky, leads the Hilltoppers with four points and two rebounds.

Denver forward Chris Udofia already has a solid game for himself, with 11 points and seven rebounds. Guard Brian Stafford has eight points, while forward Chase Hallam has six. The Pioneers are shooting 65.2 percent from the floor in the first half, while Western Kentucky is shooting just 25 percent (6-for-24). Denver would improve to 4-1 in conference play with a win over the Hilltoppers.
