Denver Pioneers Vs. Western Kentucky Game Time, TV And More

Denver University (13-4, 3-1) hosts Western Kentucky (5-13, 1-4) in a key Sun Belt matchup.

After a tough loss to Colorado St., the Denver Pioneers return their focus to a quest for a Sun Belt Championship when they host Western Kentucky. The Pioneers enter this game in second place in the Sun Belt- West Division standings, while Western Kentucky continues to struggle following the firing of head coach Ken McDonald.

Denver University has won its last two games in Sun Belt play, with Brian Stafford and Chris Udofia leading the way. Stafford is averaging a team-high 14.6 ppg, while shooting over 50% from the field and over 40% from behind the three-point line. Udofia is the second leading scorer for the Pioneers, averaging 14.1 ppg, while also serving as one of the defensive anchors for the Pioneers. Udofia is averaging a team-high 4.8 rpg and a team-high 2.6 bpg.

Western Kentucky has lost four straight and has struggled to find any sort of consistency this season. The Hilltoppers have lost both of their games since the dismissal of McDonald, who was fired after the 72-70 (OT) loss to Louisiana-Lafayette. Freshman guard Derrick Gordon is the main threat on the offensive end of the court, as he is averaging a team-high 12.3 ppg and 6.6 rpg.
