Texas Southern Vs. Denver Pioneers: Denver Looks To Keep It Rolling At Home

The Denver Pioneers (5-1) host the Texas Southern Tigers (1-5) on Saturday night.

Denver has been led this season by Brian Stafford (14.3 PPG), Chris Udofia (14.2 PPG) and forward Rob Lewis, who missed last season due to injury, but has returned to action averaging 10 points per game so far this season. Senior guard Brian Stafford was named the Sun Belt Player of the Week from Nov. 8-14, and is currently tied for 13th on Denver's all-time scoring list with 1,224 career points.

Texas Southern, last season's SWAC regular-season conference champion, has struggled mightily so far this season and has lost all five road games they have played, by an average of 18.4 points per game.
