The Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs remained the No. 1 hockey team in the nation in the latest USCHO Top 20 Poll. They received 49 of 50 first-place votes while the other vote went to the Ohio State Buckeyes. The whole top five remained unchanged with the Minnesota Golden Gophers, the Boston College Eagles and the Meriimack Warrios checked in at Nos. 2, 3 and 5, respectively.
The Colorado College Tigers fell one spot to No. 7 after splitting a series with the Alaska-Anchorage Seawolves, 3-6 and 4-3.
The Denver Pioneers also dropped one spot from No. 13 to No. 14. The Pioneers beat the Bemidji State Beavers in the first game of the series, but on Saturday the team lost its first game to the Beavers, 1-2. At 7-6-3, the Pioneers are just hanging onto a spot in the top 20. They'll look to get back on track with a road trip against St. Cloud State.
