Air Force Falcons Defeat Sacred Heart Pioneers, 2-1

The Air Force Falcons picked up 2-1 win against the Sacred Heart Pioneers on Friday night. Chad Demers scored late in the first period on the power play. Cole Gunner and Scott Mathis assisted on the goal. Brian Sheehan tied the game at 16:29 in the second period, but Air Force's John Kruse had the answer early in the third period. He scored the game-winning goal at 1:47 in final frame.

Goalie Stephen Caple allowed one goal on 14 shots while his team was able to get 36 shots on net against Steven Legatto.

The Pioneers are now winless after seven games. The Falcons are 4-2-2 and are unbeaten in their last six game. The series concludes on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. MT.
