The post-lockout NBA preseason of 2011 was hastily thrown together and was comprised of only two games, with the Denver Nuggets playing a short home-and-home series with the Phoenix Suns. The 2012 preseason, on the other hand, will be played in full, with the Nuggets playing a full seven-game preseason schedule that runs for much of October.

The Nuggets aren't going to be folding any major new additions into their roster, so the preseason for them will be more about tuning up individually than working on any major chemistry issues. That said, there is likely to be some interesting battles for playing time involving fringe rotation players like Jordan Hamilton and rookie Evan Fournier.

Here's is Denver's full preseason schedule:

Oct. 6, @ Los Angeles Clippers (Las Vegas, NV), 8:30 p.m.
Oct. 12, @ San Antonio Spurs AT&T Center, 6:30 p.m.
Oct. 15, Golden State Warriors, 7:00 p.m.
Oct. 17, @ Portland Trailblazers, 8:00 p.m.
Oct. 21, @ Oklahoma City Thunder, 6:00 p.m.
Oct. 25, Los Angeles Clippers, 8:00 p.m.
Oct. 26, @ Phoenix Suns, 7:00 p.m.
