2012 NBA Draft: Bradley Beal Says Nuggets Considering Moving Up To Draft Him

The Denver Nuggets told Florida shooting guard Bradley Beal that they're considering ways to move up in the draft to select him, as Beal told Andy Katz of ESPN.com. Beal also says that Oklahoma City Thunder have given him a similar statement, although the odds are still slim that a playoff team can move up far enough to land him.

At the moment, the Charlotte Bobcats are listening to offers for the No. 2 pick, with the Cleveland Cavaliers showing the most interest in moving up. The Cavaliers have the No. 4 pick, but they want Beal and don't believe that he'll get past the Washington Wizards with the No. 3 pick.

Given the high odds that Beal is Washington's pick should he be there, the Nuggets would probably need to move up to Charlotte's spot in the draft in order to grab the Florida product. While the Nuggets do have a variety of good young players and the No. 20 pick, moving up 18 spots is a tall mountain to climb.
