Draft picks are valuable commodities in the NBA, but they have their downsides. For one, drafted players have, of course, never played a game in the NBA, and any draft pick can turn out to be a bust. Young NBA players, on the other hand, have proven their worth, and the Denver Nuggets have a cache of young, proven NBA players.
Those players, according to ESPN's Chris Broussard, are proving to be in high demand as the NBA Draft rapidly approaches. Broussard reported on Wednesday that various teams have inquired on Denver's young players in exchange for draft picks, including one proposed trade that would send Wilson Chandler to the Golden State Warriors for the No. 7 overall pick.
Lots of teams calling Denver to trade for Nuggets' young players. 1of several moves being discussed: Wil Chandler to G State for 7th pick— Chris Broussard (@Chris_Broussard) June 27, 2012
