As the 2012 NBA Draft inches closer, Weber State point guard Damian Lillard is emerging as one of the hottest names in the class. Lillard burst onto NBA radars as a senior this past season, and he's been impressing even more in pre-draft workouts. He recently visited the Sacramento Kings, where he displayed his plus-athleticism and ability to shoot the rock.

The Kings hold the No. 5 pick in the draft, which is conceivably the highest Lillard could go. Most projections have the point guard going between No. 6 and No. 11, with the Portland Trail Blazers holding each of those selections.
Lillard is still locked in a battle with North Carolina sophomore Kendall Marshall to be the first point guard off the board, but early indications seem to be pointing Lillard's way.
