2012 NBA Mock Draft: Denver Nuggets Projected To Select Kentucky PG Marquis Teague

Ty Lawson and Andre Miller formed a two-headed point guard attack to carry the Denver Nuggets to the playoffs last season, but the 36-year old Miller is an unrestricted free agent who's already rumored to be drawing interest from the Miami Heat. A new mock draft by CBS Sports' Jeff Goodman pitches a potential replacement for Miller in Kentucky's Marquis Teague.

Teague was the freshman lead guard on Kentucky's national championship-winning title team last season. The 19-year old is starting to look like a consensus first round selection. Teague averaged 9.4 points and 4.8 assists last season. He scored 14 points and 5-of-14 shooting in the Wildcats' title game victory against the Kansas Jayhawks. Teague scored a season-high 24 points in Kentucky's Round of 32 win over Iowa State on March 17.
