Lakers Vs. Nuggets, 2012 NBA Playoffs Game 3: Denver Scores 99-84 Victory Over Los Angeles

The Denver Nuggets picked up a huge 99-84 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday night at the Pepsi Center. JaVale McGee was a big factor in the victory with his 16 points and 15 rebounds. He blocked four shots and stole the ball twice. The Nuggets avoided a 3-0 deficit by picking up their first victory of the series.

Ty Lawson also provided a huge life for the Nuggets with his 25 points, seven assists, four rebounds and two steals. Rookie Kenneth Faried continued his strong play with 12 points and 15 rebounds.

Timofey Mozgov started in place of Kosta Koufos, but he played just 14 minutes and didn't score any points. Koufos didn't play at all in the game.

Kobe Bryant put up 22 points on 7-of-23 shooting, including 3-of-10 from beyond the arc. Andrew Bynum, who broke Al Harrington's nose with an elbow, scored 18 points and pulled down 12 rebounds.

Game 4 of this series takes place on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. MT.
