Point guard Damian Lillard exploded onto the radars of NBA scouts this past season by averaging 24.5 points, five rebounds and four assists per night during his junior season at Weber State. Because of his plus-size (6-foot-2) and all-around game, Lillard is now being projected as a potential lottery pick in some circles. The lottery is exactly where a new mock draft by NBADraft.net has the guard.

In the latest projection from the seminal mock draft site, Lillard goes No. 13 to the Phoenix Suns. Phoenix could be losing longtime face of the franchise Steve Nash this offseason via free agency, so it makes sense the team would be looking to target another young point guard in the draft.
Lillard is expected to compete with North Carolina's Kendall Marshall to become the first point guard taken off the board.
