The Denver Nuggets have 13 games left in the regular season and currently sit in seventh place in the Western Conference standings. Head coach George Karl's team shouldn't get too comfortable, though: they're just a half game in front of Houston and have only a 1.5 game lead on the No. 9 Utah Jazz. As such, every game looms large, and Denver can't afford to slip up against the teams they should beat, like the New Orleans Hornets, who host the Nuggets on Wednesday night.
Denver will be seeking it's third straight win. The Nuggets boast a 2-1 record against the Hornets thus far this season: Denver won 96-88 on in The Big Easy on Jan. 6, lost 94-81 on Jan. 9, and won 110-97 against the Hornets on March 9.
