With the 2012 NFL Draft over, there are still several other drafts ready to take place, including the 2012 NBA Draft. However, that won't take place until the end of June. Rest assured, though, that ESPN Insider Chad Ford will have updated versions of his mock draft every so often. His fourth one came out on Monday.
With the No. 20 overall pick, Ford projects Denver to take Baylor Bears small forward Quincy Miller:
The Nuggets don't have any real glaring needs right now, which gives them the luxury of taking the best player left on the board. Had Miller stayed in school another year, he would've likely been a top 10 pick in 2013. He's great value here.
Miller averaged 11.1 points and 5.0 rebounds for the Bears as a freshman. Taking the best player available is always a laudable move, but it'll be hard for Miller to find any playing time at the 3 with Danilo Gallinari entrenched there and several other players able to swing to that position.
