In a first half where the Denver Nuggets held two separate eight-point leads, the visiting Cleveland Cavaliers managed to fight back to take a 57-54 advantage into the locker room.
Through two quarters of play, the Nuggets have simply not found an answer for containing Cleveland forward Antawn Jamison, who has a game-high 26 points on 8-of-13 shooting.
Al Harrington leads a balanced Denver scoring attack with 12 points, and point guard Andre Miller has also added four assists off the bench. Rookie forward Kenneth Faried, averaging 15.0 points and 9.5 rebounds in four games since the All-Star break, has just five points and four rebounds at the intermission, and has been limited to just 11 minutes due to foul trouble.
