The Denver Nuggets starting point guard, Ty Lawson, received a notable accolade leading up to Monday night's game against the Sacramento Kings. According to NBA.com, Lawson has earned the Western Conference Player of the Week award.
Lawson averaged over 20 points and 11 assists over the course of last week, and his strong performances helped lead the Nuggets to three straight wins. The wins came as a welcome relief after a rough February in which the team posted a 5-10 record.
