JaVale McGee Will Get His First Start For Denver Nuggets Tonight Vs. Chicago Bulls

Rejoice, Internet: your favorite player, JaVale McGee, will make his first start for the Denver Nuggets tonight when the team travels to the United Center to face the Chicago Bulls.

McGee was acquired at the trade deadline on March 15 as part of a three-team trade that sent longtime Nuggets center Nene to the Washington Wizards.

McGee has played in three games for the Nuggets, but this will be his first start. The 24-year old center has played well in 25 minutes per night during the first three games of his Denver tenure. In his Nuggets debut, McGee dunked home a missed free throw in the final seconds to give Denver a 116-115 win over the Detroit Pistons. In his last game, a loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday, McGee finished with 13 points, 11 rebounds, and two blocks.
