Nuggets Vs. Timberwolves Final Score: Minnesota Takes Control, Wins 117-100

The Denver Nuggets were barely competitive against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday, which led to a 117-100 victory for the young Minnesota squad.

Minnesota led Denver 68-43 at halftime and never let up from there. Still, the Nuggets had five players score in double figures, which included two bench players - JaVelle McGee (13 points) and Andre Miller (14 points). Kenneth Feried led the way for Denver with 17 points on eight-of-13 shooting from the field.

Ty Lawson scored 14 points in the loss and Wilson Chandler added 12. Both Lawson and Chandler led Denver with five assists apiece.

While the Nuggets shot high percentages (50.6 percent for the game), they had no answers defensively for Kevin Love and Luke Ridnour. Love had another one of his monster double-double performances, scoring 30 points and grabbing 21 rebounds. Ridnour, filling in nicely for the injured Ricky Rubio, had 21 points and six assists.
