The Denver Nuggets will be without starter Arron Afflalo on Sunday afternoon when the team takes on the Minnesota Timberwolves. Afflalo has been suspended one game for elbowing Utah Jazz forward Gordon Hayward during Friday's contest, reports the Denver Post's Chris Dempsey:
The NBA has suspended #Nuggets G Arron Afflalo for today's game against Minnesota for his elbow-throwing incident at Utah on Fri.

Midway through the third quarter, Afflalo's elbow hit Hayward's neck, which resulted in an ejection for the Nuggets guard.
The Nuggets will have Afflalo back for Monday's game against the Chicago Bulls, perhaps the most important game the team will play over the next week.
