Nuggets Vs. Rockets Final Score: Denver Knocks Off Houston 117-105

Without Nene, Danilo Gallinari , Chris Andersen or Rudy Fernandez, the Denver Nuggets topped the Houston Rockets 117-105 on Friday night at the Toyota Center. The win lifts Denver to 20-17, while the Rockets fall to 21-16.

Ty Lawson keyed the victory for Denver, finishing with 22 points, 15 assists, and seven rebounds. Six other Denver players reached double-figures, including Arron Affalo (17 points) and Corey Brewer (15 points). Kenneth Faried and Andre Miller each had 16 points. Faried also had 11 rebounds, including six offensive boards.

Houston was powered throughout the night by Kevin Martin, who scored 35 points on 10-of-15 shooting. Kyle Lowry added seven rebounds and five assists for the Rockets in the loss.

Denver can point to domination on the boards as the reason they won. The Nuggets out-rebounded Houston 49-35, and grabbed 19 offensive boards to Houston's 10 rebounds.
