The Denver Nuggets trailed the Houston Rockets by five points at halftime tonight, but a big third quarter by Denver will give the Nuggets an 82-78 lead heading into the final frame at the Toyota Center.
Denver is certainly glad to have starting point guard Ty Lawson back from injury, and he's played well tonight: Lawson has 11 points, 11 assists, and six rebounds, even though he's shot just 3-of-12 from the field. Corey Brewer has a team-high 15 poitns for the Nuggets. Arron Afflalo has 13 points, while Andre Miller has come off the bench to score 14.
Kevin Martin has dominated action throughout the night for Houston. He has 32 points at the moment on 9-of-13 shooting, that includes five makes from three-point range. Luis Scola has 12 points for Houston.
