Mavericks Vs. Nuggets Score Update: Dallas Leads 92-78 After 3rd Quarter

The Dallas Mavericks are shooting 36-of-65 (55.4 percent) from the field and 9-of-19 from the three-point line tonight against the Denver Nuggets. Not surprisingly, the Nuggets trail the Mavs 92-78 at the Pepsi Center. If Dallas can hang on, it will be the team's fourth straight win.

The Mavs are being like by future Hall of Fame forward Dirk Nowitzki, who has 28 points, 10 rebounds and six assists on 10-of-17 shooting heading into the fourth quarter. Reserve forward Brandan Wright has 13 points on 6-of-8 shooting from the floor. Vince Carter (12 points) and Ian Mahinmi (11 points) have also played well for the Mavs.

Denver is being led by shooting guard Arron Afflalo, who has 16 points on 6-of-8 shooting. In his return to the NBA after a stint playing professionally in China, small forward Wilson Chandler has 13 points on 6-of-15 shooting.
