Hawks Vs. Nuggets Score Update: Denver Leads 64-55 At Halftime

The Denver Nuggets have been flashing their offensive strengths as they lead 64-55 over the Atlanta Hawks going into halftime on Tuesday night. The game was an extremely tight battle through the first 22 minutes, but the Nuggets ran away with nine unanswered points in the final two minutes of the half.

After taking a 52-46 lead on a Danilo Gallinari three-pointer, the Nuggets promptly allowed the Hawks to take back the lead with a series of three-point shots. Ty Lawson returned the favor in the final minute with two long-distance shots of his own, and now Denver has the biggest lead that either team has had in the game.

Lawson was stunning from long range in the first half for Denver, scoring all 12 of his first half points by going a perfect 4-of-4 from beyond the three-point line. The Nuggets also got 11 points off the bench from Al Harrington. Joe Johnson leads Atlanta with 15 points while Josh Smith has added 13 points.
