The Denver Nuggets defeated the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday night without the services of Rudy Fernandez, Nene or Danilo Gallinari, and George Karl said Thursday that he expects the team will be without those three players again on Friday.
#Nuggets coach George Karl doesn't think @rudy5fernandez, @gallinari8888 or Nene will play Friday at HOU. No other injuries to report.

But that'll be nothing new for the Nuggets of late -- Fernandez has missed the last five games, Nene has missed the last eight, while Gallinari has missed the last 11 games.
Despite the injury troubles, Denver is in position to make the playoffs with a good finish to the season. The win over Portland on Wednesday moved the Nuggets into eighth place in the West, a half game ahead of the ninth-place Trail Blazers.
