Nuggets Vs. Rockets Score Update: Nuggets Trail By Two Going Into The Fourth

The Denver Nuggets are just 1-for-15 from three-point range tonight, but still have themselves in position to get a victory heading into the fourth quarter against the Houston Rockets at the Pepsi Center. Houston leads 73-71 heading into the final period in a game the Nuggets are playing without star center Nene and starting two guard Arron Afflalo.

Denver is shooting 29-of-64 (45 percent) from the field while Houston has made 27-of-65 shots (41.5 percent). While Denver has dominated the boards with a 42-30 edge , Houston's three-point shooting has been the difference. The Rockets are 7-of-16 from downtown.

Forward Luis Scola has 21 points and seven rebounds to lead the Rockets. Kyle Lowry has chipped in 17 points, while shooting guard Courtney Lee has 10 off the bench for Houston.

Danilo Gallinari has 14 points to lead all Denver scorers. Rudy Fernandez has 11 points and Chris Andersen has 10 points for the Nuggets thus far.
