Kenyon Martin Signs 1-Year, $2.5 Million Contract With Los Angeles Clippers, According To Report

Veteran forward Kenyon Martin, who spent seven seasons as a member of the Denver Nuggets, agreed to a deal with the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday, and now some details of that agreement are beginning to emerge:

Martin’s agent, Andy Miller, confirmed Friday that the sides reached agreement. The deal, believed to be worth the mini mid-level exception of $2.5 million, is expected to be finalized as soon as Martin passes a physical.

Martin had been playing basketball in China for the Xinjiang Flying Tigers; he was cleared to return to an NBA team on Thursday.

Martin started 361 games for the Nuggets from 2004 through the 2011 season. The 34-year-old averaged 8.6 points and 6.2 rebounds per game in his final season with Denver.
