There has been a lot of handwringing over the lack of star power in this year's NBA Slam Dunk Contest, but the beauty of the event is that we don't know what the participants have in store. This year's group features two young players from teams in the Denver Nuggets' division, as well as two of the best young swingmen in the game.
If the Dunk Contest has a headliner, it just may be Derrick Williams of the Minnesota Timberwolves, who was last seen on a national stage throwing down monster dunks on the Duke Blue Devils in last year's NCAA Tournament. He'll be joined by super-athletic Indiana Pacers forward Paul George, Jeremy Evans of the Utah Jazz and Chase Budinger of the Houston Rockets.
