2012 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game: East Leads West 49-31 At Halftime

The first half of the Celebrity All-Star Game has been light on defense and heavy on botched layups, and the East has been able to build a 49-31 lead at the break. The game is on pace to be far more high-scoring than last year's more sluggish affair, which can't hurt.

So far, one of the stars for the East has been Arne Duncan, who is the United States Secretary of Education. Duncan, a former varsity basketball player at Harvard, scored 15 points in the half and added five rebounds and five steals.

Kevin Durant is going to have to dig deep into his coaching bag of tricks to get his West team back into this contest in the second half.
