Nuggets Vs. Clippers Score Update: Denver, LA Tied After One

If you think the Denver Nuggets' injury report is beginning to resemble what should be the team's starting lineup, you aren't wrong. Heading into what should be a litmus test tonight against the high-flying Los Angeles Clippers, the Nuggets are playing without Ty Lawson, Nene, Rudy Fernandez, and Chris Andersen. All things considered, the Nuggets should be relatively pleased to be headed into the second quarter tied with LA at 27-27.

Rookie Jordan Hamilton did his thing in the first quarter, scoring a team-leading 10 points in just five minutes. The Texas product was 3-for-3 from the field that included two makes from three-point range. Guard Arron Afflalo and rookie forward Kenneth Faried each scored six in the first quarter to help pace Denver.

The Clips were led by guard Randy Foye, who scored eight points. Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan each have six points for Los Angeles.
