Starting point guard Ty Lawson is out with an ankle injury, but it didn't slow down the Denver Nuggets in the third quarter tonight against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Denver takes a 76-73 lead into the first quarter after trailing by 12 at the end of the first quarter.
Forward Al Harrington has come off the bench to score a game-high 22 points on 10-of-19 shooting and grab seven rebounds so far for the Nuggets. Arron Afflalo is just 5-of-12 from the field, but has 16 points and four rebounds through the first three quarters. Backup point guard Andre Miller is 0-for-8, but has already dished out 12 assists, grabbed six rebounds and hit five free throws.
All-Star power forward Kevin Love leads Minnesota with another double-double of 14 points and 11 rebounds. Rookie guard Ricky Rubio has 12 points for the T-Wolves, while teammate Luke Ridnour has scored 10.
