Nuggets Vs. Thunder Score Update: Durant Heats Up In Opening Quarter

Having lost seven of their last nine games, the Denver Nuggets know how important every victory is in the push for a playoff spot in the competitive Western Conference. However, a trip to Oklahoma City to face Kevin Durant and the Thunder is a difficult matchup when trying to put an end to a two-game losing streak. Despite playing its third game in the past five days, Denver holds a 27-25 lead over the Thunder after the first quarter.

The Nuggets closed out the quarter with a 10-0 run to take the lead. Aaron Afflalo was very productive in the opening 12 minutes, scoring a team-high nine points and dishing out two assists. Corey Brewer played with great energy and tempo, as he scored eight points and grabbed three rebounds. Andre Miller came off the bench to score two points and dish out three assists.

Kevin Durant delivered with his typical offensive efficiency, scoring a game-high 12 points on 4/5 shooting from the field. Russell Westbrook scored seven points and dished out three assists for the Thunder.
