The Denver Nuggets have been no match for the hot-shooting Memphis Grizzlies so far, and now they'll have to dig their way out of an early 34-15 hole. The Grizzlies shot an impressive 15-24 from the field in the quarter, including a 4-7 effort from beyond the arc. They also grabbed four offensive rebounds and finished the quarter with a +2 turnover margin.
That was all too much to keep up with for Denver, which is shooting just 31.2% from the field. Arron Afflalo leads the Nuggets with five points, while Ty Lawson added four.
